It's spring in Chapel Hill, and we have had lots of little celebrations over the last month or two. In early March, we finally had a day that felt spring-ish (highs in the upper 60s), so we celebrated by having a picnic on our balcony. We roasted a few brats on our coleman stove, and ate some homemade tzatziki (recipe courtesy of the Melonaki) and a few sides.
We also celebrated Jordan's birthday with a "Diez de Marco" fiesta at our place. We ate lots of quesadillas and had a piñata and ate the very special strawberry birthday cake made famous at last year's birthday bash.
Mariah also came to town during her spring break (NC visit #3!)... her trip will be documented in the next post!

p.s. kevin is working tonight. that's why i'm a loser and wrote on this right after you wrote it. which i know you just did because i checked google reader less than an hour ago:) i'm going to go read a good book now.
